OUR PROGRAM

 

We are thrilled to provide a safe, fun-filled after-school program with structured and unstructured dance and recreation activities. The program is available to boys and girls and would incorporate several different dance styles including Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Acro, Jazz, etc. Full-time and part-time spaces are available beginning in September 2022. If you are interested in participating but not enrolled at Winding River Consolidated School, you would need to arrange for transportation.

 

Program Overview

Limitless Dance Company's After School Program begins immediately following afternoon dismissal and operates until 5:00 pm. A staff member will pick the children up at the bus stop right outside the dance studio (285 George Street). 

 

In-service/P.D. days (full-day camps) are included in the program for all families enrolled in Full-Time care. Parents who are registered for part-time care will need to sign up for these days (if required). Hours for In-Service/PD days are 8:00-5:00 pm.

The after-school program does not operate during Christmas break, all holidays, and storm days.

We will be closed for the following days/holidays:​

• September 30th - Truth and Reconciliation Day

• October 10th - Thanksgiving

• November 11th - Remembrance Day (observed)

• December 21st - Jan 2nd - Christmas Break

• February 20th - Nova Scotia Heritage Day

• March 13th-17th - March Break 

• April 7th - Good Friday

• April 10th - Easter Monday

• May 22nd - Victoria Day

Spaces can not be held without payment for absent days, illness, storm days, or vacation days; However, full-day PD days are included for no extra cost.

Required Notifications

For your child's safety, written or verbal notice is required if your child will not be attending the program. Our program is not in partnership with the school, we operate independently. 

 

If a designated individual will be picking up your child during program time. A notice must be provided by the parent or guardian. Your child will not be released without proper consent from the parent or guardian. We regret any inconvenience this process may cause, but we consider your child's safety as our primary responsibility.
